Privacy Policy

Celebramos (celebramos.app) helps people plan events: guest lists and RSVPs, checklists, budgets and a contact book. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email us at support@celebramos.app.

Information we collect

Your account. Your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider). If you turn on two-step verification, we store the details needed to check your codes.

Signing in with Google. If you choose to, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use these only to create and sign you in to your account. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access any other data in your Google account.

What you add to plan events. Event details (title, date, place, budget), checklist items, budget items and vendor names, and the people you add as guests or contacts: their names and, if you add them, email addresses, phone numbers and notes.

What guests tell us. When a guest replies to an invitation, we save their answer, party size, any dietary needs and their note to the host. Guests don't need an account. Their personal RSVP link is the only way to view or change their reply.

Technical information. Our hosting and database providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request) to run the service securely and fix problems.

How we use information

• To provide the service: show your events, send guests to their RSVP page and keep your plans in sync.
• To keep accounts secure: sign-in, password resets, two-step verification and preventing abuse.
• To send service emails, such as confirming your email address or resetting your password.
• To understand and fix problems and improve Celebramos.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not show ads.

Who can see your information

• You and your co-hosts. Your events, guest lists, checklists and budgets are visible only to you and anyone you add as a co-host of that event.
• Guests. A guest's RSVP page shows the event's name, date, place, description and the host's name, plus that guest's own reply. Guests can't see the guest list.
• Your contact book is private to you.
• Service providers that run Celebramos for us, under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing their service: Supabase (database, sign-in and service emails) and Vercel (website hosting). If you use Google sign-in, Google processes your sign-in under its own policies.
• When required by law, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our users or the public.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Information about other people

When you add guests or contacts, you're sharing their information with us. Please only add people you know and who would expect to hear from you about your event. Anyone who wants their information removed from Celebramos can email us at support@celebramos.app.

How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete an event, contact or guest, it's removed from our database. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email support@celebramos.app from the address you sign in with and we'll delete it within 30 days. Backups held by our providers are deleted on their normal schedule.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Database access rules make sure each person can only reach their own events and contacts, and you can turn on two-step verification in your account settings. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.

Your choices

• Change your name and password in your account settings.
• Edit or delete your events, guests and contacts at any time.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@celebramos.app.

Children

Celebramos is for adults planning events. We don't knowingly let anyone under 13 create an account. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Where we store information

Celebramos is run from Florida, and our providers store and process data in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know by email or in the app.
